Content / Overview This course is suitable if you want to develop your understanding of business and you have an interest in how the UK economy works. Topics include: business purposes, business organisations, financial forecasting for business, people in organisations, business enterprise, working in business teams, promoting and branding in retail business, customer relations in business, business ethics.
Delivery Method You learn by completing practical projects and assignments.
Assessment 100% coursework with ongoing assessment throughout the year.
All units are assessed and individually graded and an overall grade is awarded for the qualification.
Progression Business Studies Level 3 BTEC Diploma or a package of A Levels including Business.
Homework Weekly homework in the form of research tasks and portfolio work.

All students aged 19 years or over on 1 September in the first year of their course are expected to pay tuition, registration, exam fees and all other course related costs. Some assistance with these costs may be available depending on your circumstances and the latest government funding position. There are normally no tuition, registration or examination fees to pay if you are aged 16-18 on 1 September in the first year of your course and are a British or European Union resident. This does not apply to HNCs/Ds, Foundation Degrees, Degrees or courses that do not attract government funding.
