Worried you can’t afford to go to College? We can help!
If you’re 16-18, a British or European Union resident and on a full or part-time government-funded further education course there are normally no tuition, exam or registration fees.
If you have a low household income or your household is dependent on state benefits you could be entitled to receive the College Maintenance Bursary of up to £250 or £500 (depending on distance travelled to college) to help pay towards your College and travel expenses.
Scholarships and Bursaries
At Farnham College we recognise the investment you are making in your studies and want to help you to reach your goals. We offer a range of bursaries and scholarships to help support your studies, pave the way for new experiences and reward special endeavour, service and achievement. Our bursaries and scholarships are a donation of financial aid, awarded on various criteria that reflect the values and purposes of the donor or founder of the award. They can help to pay for essentials such as textbooks and equipment, fund overseas travel, pay for research or educational opportunities or contribute towards other academic goals, towards helping you to build a better future.
Free School Meals
Did you receive free school meals last year? Are you a resident in Elmbridge, Epsom, Ewell, Guildford, Mole Valley, Reigate, Banstead, Runnymead, Spelthorne, Surrey Heath, Tandridge, Waverley or Woking? Are you studying in year 12? If you can answer yes to all these questions, then you could be entitled to free school meals when you come to college.
