Ridgeway School
The Ridgeway Community School provides an education for pupils and students with severe and profound multiple learning difficulties, many of whom have an additional diagnosis such as an autistic spectrum disorder. Between the ages of 16 and 19 and where individually appropriate, students transfer on either a full-time or part-time basis to a Further Education Unit within Farnham College where they become part of the College community. Ridgeway students participate in a full and varied curriculum of study. The students have access to all College facilities and are taught by Ridgeway School staff and on occasion by College staff. The full and varied curriculum is designed to prepare students for greater independence.
Arrangements for admissions are through the Local Authority’s Special Needs Department, however, visits and requests for information are welcomed from anyone wishing to learn more, and should be addressed to:
