Our Physical Education course has an excellent reputation, being taught by highly qualified and experienced staff. You will learn about how the human body works and it’s response to exercise, learn how to produce exercise and training programmes, explore the workings of the human mind in relation to sports psychology, discover how to use physics and maths to analyse sports performance, and debate on contemporary sporting issues such as the use of technology in sport.
With one of our courses, you will be provided with a clear introduction to the sports and exercise industries, enabling you to develop your skills to help you specialise and build a career within the health sector. You will be given direct industry experience, with the opportunity to complete specialist fitness awards, coaching certificates and other sports and exercise related courses.
Many of our students will progress onto further studies, including university degrees in Exercise & Sports Science, Human Biosciences, Sports Psychology, Nutrition & Dietetics, Sports Engineering, Physiotherapy, Sports Law & Business, and Sports Coaching & Physical Education.
