Vocational Studies & GCSEs
Our courses are designed to encourage you to develop the personal skills and qualities you need for employment or further study, helping you to achieve your full potential. They’ll provide you with a fresh look at college studies and are designed for those who wish to study a varied and interesting course, to develop confidence and progress towards further education, training or employment.
The Higher Project Qualification course is aimed at students who want to learn and improve the various skills needed to study at a higher level. You will be supported to develop your independent learning skills, take responsibility for your own studies, develop research and study skills and discover more about an area of personal interest to you. You will also develop a number of valuable skills which you will use throughout your future career.
If you don’t achieve a grade 4 (grade C) in Maths or English at GCSE you’ll be able to retake these with us. Most universities and employers will ask for GCSE grades 4 or above (grades A*-C) in Maths and English, so it is really important to gain these qualifications.
